LongArm

With LongArm project, RoboMotio inc. is developping a complete system able to control a group of heterogeneous robots in a non-predetermined environment using land base beacons and pseudolites.

Objective is to demonstrate the ability:

  • to deploy a land base referencing network for positioning and communication redundancy.
  • for a robot to locate itself within the land base referencing network.
  • for a robot to execute simple tasks alone or in a group. Task are patrolling and transporting material.
  • for robots to exchange data between them in order to make cooperative decision.
  • to manage dynamically the communication bandwidth.
  • for a distant operator to interact with the robots and visualize the field operations.
